In 2018, I started a 'New Find' series on this blog to share musicians I find on YouTube and social media and today, I am adding Cooper Marody to the list.  Before I talk about Cooper's music, here are a few facts for us to get to know him. Cooper Marody was born on December 20 1996, which makes him 25-years-old this year.  He is from Brighton, Michigan. Attended St Patrick School in Brighton and St Mary's Prep in Orchard Lake Village. Cooper is a professional ice hockey player.  Currently plays for the Bakersfield Condors in the American Hockey League, while under contract to the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League.  Won a few awards in college and the American Hockey League.  Cooper released his first song in 2019. It is called 'Behind Me' . The lyrics are painfully beautiful.  Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a recipe for a teriyaki chicken stir-fry. Photo from taste.com.au Ingredients: Olive oil 1 brown onion 500g chicken breast fillet 1 small green capsicum 1 small red capsicum Teriyaki chicken stir-fry recipe base  2 tablespoons soy sauce Method: 1. Thinly slice the chicken breast fillet. 2. heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Cut the onion into wedges, add it and cook for 1 minute.  3. Add the chicken and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until brown.  4. Add the green and red capsicums, recipe base and soy sauce and stir-fry it for 2 minutes or until the sauce is hot and the chicken is cooked through. 5. Serve the teriyaki chicken stir-fry with steamed rice.

In this blog post, I am sharing some of the true crime movies, documentaries and shows I have seen recently.  The Tinder Swindler This documentary features three women talking about their relationships with a man who posed as a jet-setting diamond mogul on the dating app Tinder and their plans for revenge. It is two hours long but interesting and informative. Watch it on Netflix. Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey Lisa McVey, a teenager in Florida was kidnapped by a notorious serial killer in 1984. She narrowly escaped and when she returned home and told her family what happened, they thought she was making it all up. Nobody believes her except a veteran detective. Throughout her ordeal, Lisa used reverse psychology and showed incredible courage and strength. Lisa McVey is now a police officer and motivational speaker. Watch it on Netflix. Execution Island...

Kmart cashier's act of kindness Linley, a nurse from Sydney was at the checkout in Kmart when she realised she had left her wallet in the car. The retail assistant tried to show her how to use Afterpay but after having difficulty processing her order, she decided to leave and come back with her wallet later that afternoon. When Linley returned, she was surprised to find that the cashier had paid for the items. A note left by the cashier read, "Please accept this as a blessing from me to you and your family.
