The Queen's platinum jubilee celebrations are now over but I wanted to do one more post for it. She is known for her quick wit and sense of humour and here I am sharing a few of them.  Photo credit to The Royal Family Instagram In 2007, President George Bush misspoke at a welcome ceremony at the White House and said the Queen had celebrated the US bicentennial in 1776 instead of 1976. making her 200 years older! At a dinner at the British ambassador's residence two days later, she joked, "I wondered whether I should start this toast by saying, 'when I was here in 1776..." Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau toasted the Queen at a gala for the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in 2015, pointing out that he as the 12th Prime Minister to hold office during her reign. Photo from @theroyalfamily Instagram Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have revealed the name of their baby. Their daughter, who was born on 18th September, is named Sienna Elizabeth which honors Edoardo's Italian heritage and Beatrice's grandmother the Queen.  The couple announced the name on Twitter with a picture of the baby's footprint, They wrote, "We are delighted to share that we have named our daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi. We are all doing well and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna.  Woflie, is Edoardo's five-year-old son from a previous relationship. His name is actually Christopher Woolf. Beatrice married, Edoardo, who is a multi-millionaire property developer in a secret ceremony last July.  April 29th marked the tenth wedding anniversary of Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. In this post, I am sharing some lovely photos of the couple through the years, from their first meeting to the present day.  Prince William and Kate Middleton met and started dating at St Andrews University. Young Love! Prince William and Kate Middleton were engaged in 2010. He proposed to her while they were on a holiday in Kenya,with Princess Diana's ring.  Happy third birthday to Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge!!! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared this photo of their youngest child on social media. It was taken by Kate, who is an amazing photographer!  Prince Louis, before he left for his first day of nursery school. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh sadly passed away on 9th April 2021 at the age of 99 at his Windsor Castle. He had a wonderful life with his wife the Queen, supporting her and serving his country for for 74 years.
