 The music world is in mourning.  Tito Jackson, a member of the Jackson 5 and the third of nine children in the music making family, passed away on September 15th, after suffering a heart attack while driving from New Mexico to Oklahoma.  The sad news was announced by his three sons, Taj, Taryll and TJ, on Instagram.  Tito and his brothers Jackie, Marlon, Jermaine and Michael shot to fame in the 1960's under the Motown music label and the Jackson 5 produced many hit songs including ABC, The Love You Save and I'll Be There.  They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and received aa star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  In 2003, Tito began a solo career as a blues musician and released two studio albums Tito Time and Under Your Spell. Justin Bieber has been diagnosed with a rare disorder which has paralysed half his face. The 28-year-old singer revealed the news to his fans in an emotional video posted to Instagram. “I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on. Obviously, as you can probably see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it is from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has cased my face to have paralysis,” he explained. Ramsay Hunt syndrome is marked by a painful rash around the ear, on the face or on the mouth. It manifests when the varicella-zoster virus infects a nerve in the head, sometimes causing paralysis. “As you can see, this eye is not blinking. I can’t smile on this side of my face.   Hilltop Hoods Australian hip-hop group Hilltop Hoods are bringing their tour to Australia. The group will be performing in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth and sold out shows in Melbourne and Adelaide. Today I want to tell you about two podcasts I've been listening to and enjoying.  Hope Matters Hope Matters is a podcast by Louisa Hope, who is one of the survivors of the Lindt Cafe siege which occurred in December 2014. After that tragic day which shocked our country, Louisa spent about three months in hospital and, as an expression of gratitude for the nurses who took care of her, she founded the Louisa Hope Foundation for Nurses which grants equipment, education and research.  The Hope Matters podcast started in December 2019. In each episode, Louisa talks about her experience reflects on what happened that day and her experience as a hostage. The aim of this podcast is to think about what we have learnt since then, where our society is now, what our government has done and what still needs to be looked at. Former Hi-5 member Charli Robinson is engaged to her partner Liam Talbot. Talbot, a V8 supercar driver, proposed to Robinson just before driving in the Bathurst 1000 car race on the weekend. The 36 th  annual MTV Video Music Awards were held on Monday at the Prudential Center in Newark and there were a few memorable moments that people are still talking about. Dominating superstars including Taylor Swift and Cardi B travelled to New Jersey for the ceremony, which also included other types of 2019 pop fandom such as multiple performances in Spanish and the first K-pop award. Taylor Swift was the winner of the night, opening the show by performing  You Need to Calm Down  and  Lover,  both from her recently released seventh LP, and winning three awards, including Video of the Year for  You Need to Calm Down. Melissa Viviane Jefferson will be making her Australian debut in January! The singer, who is better known as Lizzo, revealed over social media that she will be touring the country. The group announced the  X Tour  on Instagram on Thursday night. The first leg of the tour has eighteen shows. Justice Crew rose to fame when they auditioned for the fourth season of  Australia’s Got Talent  in 2010. There were originally nine in the crew but now there are six – Samson Smith, Solo Tohi, Lukas Bellesini, Paulie Merciadez, John Pearce and Len Pearce. I am writing these in no particular order. Forever Ends Here's Final Show In January, Australian band Forever Ends Here performed for the very last time before splitting up.
