In this blog post, I am sharing some of the true crime movies, documentaries and shows I have seen recently.  The Tinder Swindler This documentary features three women talking about their relationships with a man who posed as a jet-setting diamond mogul on the dating app Tinder and their plans for revenge. It is two hours long but interesting and informative. Watch it on Netflix. Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey Lisa McVey, a teenager in Florida was kidnapped by a notorious serial killer in 1984. She narrowly escaped and when she returned home and told her family what happened, they thought she was making it all up. Nobody believes her except a veteran detective. Throughout her ordeal, Lisa used reverse psychology and showed incredible courage and strength. Lisa McVey is now a police officer and motivational speaker. Watch it on Netflix. Execution Island...

I was feeling nostalgic about childhood so in this blog post, I am sharing some of the children's television shows that ere on in Australia from the 1990s and early 2000s.  Picture from Cactus Pop Wordpress Art Attack (1990) - A British programme hosted by Neil Buchanan from 1990 to 2007. It revolved around art and Neil taught children to make art pieces and easy ways of learning new things.  Babar (1989) - An animated series about an elephant named Babar who tells his children the story of his childhood when he fled from his home in a forest to the city and an old lady adopts him and teaches him about human life. After he drives out a hunter and his men, Babar becomes a hero and is crowned king of the elephants. Today I want to tell you about two podcasts I've been listening to and enjoying.  Hope Matters Hope Matters is a podcast by Louisa Hope, who is one of the survivors of the Lindt Cafe siege which occurred in December 2014. After that tragic day which shocked our country, Louisa spent about three months in hospital and, as an expression of gratitude for the nurses who took care of her, she founded the Louisa Hope Foundation for Nurses which grants equipment, education and research.  The Hope Matters podcast started in December 2019. In each episode, Louisa talks about her experience reflects on what happened that day and her experience as a hostage. The aim of this podcast is to think about what we have learnt since then, where our society is now, what our government has done and what still needs to be looked at. The MTV Video music video awards were just held in New York. This year, the ceremony was different because of the pandemic. It was hosted by actress and television personality Keke Palmer and conducted in an outdoor format across the city.  My favorite part of any awards show is the red carpet and even though this time it was done virtually, with the presenters and performers photographing and sharing their looks before the actual show, I was still keen to see the amazing outfits. Here, I am sharing a few of my favorites from the night.  Sofia Carson - I like the dress, red suits Sofia and the pulled back hair do s really nice. She looks elegant. Joey King - Floral patterns are a favorite of mine and Joey looks great in this Versace dress. Jaden Smith - Jaden looks cool no matter what he wears, just my opinion, Madison Beer - I like everything about this look except the mesh hem. Every year thousands of people hoping for a career in the entertainment industry audition for talent shows such as American Idol, Got Talent and The Voice. Many of the winners and past contestants from these shows have actually been successful and are known in their home countries and even all over the world but there are some past contestants who are known for their auditions going wrong. In this post, I am sharing some auditions which featured some rude and funny people and did not go according to plan. I'm also sharing some videos where contestants were eventually successful after a rocky start. Hello everyone! It is International Dance day so in this post I am sharing some of my favorite dance videos from YouTube. The Crazy 8s on World of Dance . All their performances were amazing but Peanut Butter Jelly was my favorite. They are very talented young girls! Street dance crew,Diversity, won Britain's Got Talent in 2009. They performed at the grand final of BGT 2019 to celebrate ten years. One of my favorite shows was Dance Moms . Here is the final dance fom Season 7.  All the girls on the show are successful and big stars now. This dance choreographed by Ali Clough and featuring Chloe Lukasiak is so beautiful. In January, Jussie Smollett calmed he was the victim of a hate crime after he said he was attacked by two men on a street in Chicago late at night. Police launched an investigation but started to feel something wasn't right and on February 21st, Jussie was arrested for staging the attack against himself with the help of two men he paid. Prosecutors later dropped the criminal case against hin. Khloe Kardashiann and Tristan Thompson's relationship ended when it was revealed he had cheated on her with Kylie Jenner's best friend Jordyn Woods. Hello! A new show I have been watching is Word of Dance , an American reality competition in which contestants representing any style of dance compete for a grand prize of $1 million. Derek Hough, Jennifer Lopez and Ne-Yo are the judges.Season 3 is currently airing in America and I have been watching all the performances on YouTube. All the performers are amazing but I want to tell you about my favorite, The Crazy 8s. They are a group of girls from California who have won competitions and conventions all over the US. The members - Delaney, Sammi, Rylee, Ella, Naia, Alyssa, Hope and Kendyl are ages 10-12 and are so talented! Their routines are full of skills and tricks nobody has seen before. In the qualifiers round, they danced to Keeping Your Head Up by Birdy. When they first appeared on the stage, I thought they looked so cute in their pink leotards and they were actually better than I expected. All 8 girls are similar heights and they were all in sync. A controversial new documentary called 'Leaving Neverland'  is making headlines around the world. It is a four hour long documentary directed by British filmmaker, Dan Reed, which focuses on two men who claim they were abused by music superstar Michael Jackson when they were children. It premiered at the Sundance film festival which was held from January 24th to February 3rd in Park City, Utah. I have been following all the news on Leaving Neverland. I have read a lot of articles, seen social media posts and watched interviews and videos about it and in this post, I am going to share my thoughts on this documentary, the people involved in the making of it and more.
