Inspiring Photographers 2

Four years ago, I wrote a blog post about my interest and experiences in photography and a few of my favorite photographers. Now, I still have that same keen interest and in this post, I am going to tell you about three more photographers I am inspired by.

Kate Jensen - I just found Kate on Instagram in December. She does boudoir and lifestyle photography. and has taken the most amazing photos of couples and families. My favorites are the set of an engaged couple dressed in white posted last September. You can really see the love between them through the photos Kate captured and I just have to say that the young woman in the photo is so beautiful and I love her dress! I love all the photos Kate has posted. The locations, the outfits....Everything is just perfect!

Dawson Atamanchuk - Dawson is an awesome lifestyle photographer from Saskatchewan. His photos of families and weddings are stunning! Dawson has also taken some great lifestyle shots. Out of all the photos on his Instagram, my favorites are the wedding shot of a bride and groom standing between trees in front of water posted last month, The black an white photo of a couple holding hands and a dog's paw on them and lifestyle photos of a beautiful woman with blonde hair wearing a pink top and a warm, woolly  jacket posted last February.

Justin - A former actor who takes beautiful scenery photos. He played Ken Wu in the Might Ducks movies. He was one of my favorites and I was so excited when I found his Instagram and saw that he is now a photographer. I love the photos he has taken during fall/autumn and closeup shots of insects!

All three of these photographers are in Canada so sorry Aussies, we can't hire them. They are talented, creative and hard-workers and they have inspired me to pick up my camera and shoot a lot more, which I will do this year! Looking at their work gives me ideas for the type of photos I want to take.

You can check them out on Instagram and, if you like what you see, give them a follow! Also, I have just started an Instagram account to share my own photography so feel free to follow @vishikulenphotos. I am not a professional. I am a hobby photographer.

Thank you for reading!

Welcome back Justice Crew!

Photo credit to @Justicecrewofficial Instagram Justice Crew are a dance and music group who won Australia's Got Talent in 2010 and went on to release many amazing songs including number one hits Boom Boom and Que Sera . After their tour in 2019, they took a long break and now they are back!  I have been a huge fan of them since the beginning and have been to a lot of their shows, so when they announced they were performing a show in February, of course I was excited and attended with my friend. There was a huge crowd there to see them, which surprised a few people, including maybe the guys themselves. After six years, they probably felt rusty, but they were actually amazing as always. It was so cool to see them on stage again and here all the hit songs the number ones and  Everybody. It's so crazy how even now, after six year...

Light in the Darkness

We all carry a little darkness. Moments we don’t speak of. Storms We face. Shadows we walk through quietly.   But that doesn’t mean our light is gone.   Even on heavy days, when it feels like someone has punched us in the chest, or everything feels hopeless. We work. We care. We laugh. We create. We shine, like the brightest star in the sky.   No matter what happens today – even if it’s messy, or lonely, or full of tears - The sun will rise in the morning. Like it always does. Like we always do.   Because light doesn’t have to shout. Sometimes it just keeps showing up, quietly. One bright beam at a time.

Virtual Stop #1: Lymington - A Seaside Gem Discovered by Chance

Welcome to my virtual travel series, where I explore beautiful corners of the world without leaving my bed. Inspired by TikTok livestreamers and walking tour videos, these posts capture what I see, feel and learn as I journey through new places from afar.  I wasn't planning to visit Lymington - not virtually, not in any way. I had never heard of it before watching my favorite singing buskers livestream from the quaint little town in the UK and now I'm captivated. The charm of Lymington unfolded before my eyes: Cobbled pathways, rows of boats bobbing gently at the marina and friendly locals to stop and enjoy the music. I experienced it from my bed.  There is something so welcoming about the town, The people passing by weren't just polite - they were supportive. Some clapped, others left kind words or a few coins, and a few even stayed for songs. There are three ladies who go often to support the guys. They have all been following them on TikTok for a while and met each other...
