Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great weekend. Today I want to tell you about two podcasts I've been listening to and enjoying. Hope Matters Hope Matters is a podcast by Louisa Hope, who is one of the survivors of the Lindt Cafe siege which occurred in December 2014. After that tragic day which shocked our country, Louisa spent about three months in hospital and, as an expression of gratitude for the nurses who took care of her, she founded the Louisa Hope Foundation for Nurses which grants equipment, education and research. The Hope Matters podcast started in December 2019. In each episode, Louisa talks about her experience reflects on what happened that day and her experience as a hostage. The aim of this podcast is to think about what we have learnt since then, where our society is now, what our government has done and what still needs to be looked at.
