Biopics

Today I am sharing some biographical movies and TV shows based on true stories.  The Act The act is a television series based on the lives of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Dee Dee had a condition called Munchhausen by proxy, which caused her to fabricate health problems, in her daughter. Gypsy was abused by Dee all her life and finally she and her boyfriend killed Dee Dee. Patricia Arquette plays Dee Dee and Joey King plays Gypsy Rose. They both did an amazing job! I have watched the series and some clips of the real Gypsy Rose and Joey was spot on with her portrayal, especially the voice! It is dark, and creepy and not easy to watch but I think it is one of the best true crime dramas. You can watch the eight-episode series on Hulu and Binge.  Bombshell Bombshell tells the story of the women who were sexually harassed by Fox News CEO Roger Ailes. The cast includes Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly, Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson, Margot Robbie as Kayl...

Olympic Moments

Photo: CNN Week one of the Tokyo Olympics has ended and there have been so many amazing moments of triumph, determination and sportsmanship. In this blog post I am sharing a few of them. Australian swimmers Emily Seebohm and Kaylee McKeown have been friends for many years and shared a touching moment after Saturday's 100m and 200m finals. Emily, who is a four-time olympian offered to present Kaylee with the gold medal because she wanted her to feel like she had a family member there with her, as athletes families are watchhing from their homes. After Kaylee received her medal, she surprised Emily by asking her to stay on top of the podium while the national anthem played. Beautiful gestures! Congratulations Emily and Kaylee, Australia is proud! Blog Interviews

Photo from Three Girls Media Including interviews in a blog is a great way to diversify your content, make connections, gain new readers and reach a wider audience.. Here, I am sharing some tips for conducting interviews for blog.  Deciding who to interview When deciding who to interview for your blog, look at the topics you have written about such as music, health, lifestyle and YouTube and pick someone in those industries you could possibly get. Think about who you are a fan of and who's work you admire. It could be a musician, a mental health expert, someone who makes YouTube videos or someone who works in the same field as you. Whoever it is, make sure they a relevant to what you usually write about and are interested in. Write down a list of all those people you want to interview. You most probably won't get an A-list celebrity, not right away. Start with people in your local community or who you have already made contact with somehow. Contacting potential interviewees In ...
