Master Archie

Last Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child! Harry and Meghan's son was born on the morning of 6th May and his birth was announced on all the royal family's official social media platforms, including the Sussex's Instagram. @sussexroyal: We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Official announcement on Instagram @sussexroyal As with all royal births, a framed notice was placed on a ceremonial easel outside Buckingham Palace. The notice read, The Queen and the Royal Family are delighted at the news that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 0526am today. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well. I have always wondered why these official notices say "was safely delivered of a son" when they could just say "has given birth to a son" or something along ...

The Crazy 8s

Hello! A new show I have been watching is Word of Dance , an American reality competition in which contestants representing any style of dance compete for a grand prize of $1 million. Derek Hough, Jennifer Lopez and Ne-Yo are the judges.Season 3 is currently airing in America and I have been watching all the performances on YouTube. All the performers are amazing but I want to tell you about my favorite, The Crazy 8s. They are a group of girls from California who have won competitions and conventions all over the US. The members - Delaney, Sammi, Rylee, Ella, Naia, Alyssa, Hope and Kendyl are ages 10-12 and are so talented! Their routines are full of skills and tricks nobody has seen before. In the qualifiers round, they danced to Keeping Your Head Up by Birdy. When they first appeared on the stage, I thought they looked so cute in their pink leotards and they were actually better than I expected. All 8 girls are similar heights and they were all in sync. Not one of them mis...

Rules royal children must follow

Like other families, the British royal family has a strict set of household rules that must be followed by every single member, including the children. The Queen with her great-grandchildren Official royal photo Here is a list of rules the young royals including George, Charlotte Louis and their soon to be born cousin must follow. They must accept gifts but can't keep all of them The Royals' official website says that if they receive a gift from someone they don't know personally, they may only keep items within reason like flowers, books with a noncontroversial subject matter and small items that cost less than $196. The children need to be able to speak a foreign language Learning  foreign language is not compulsory but it has been done for many years. The Queen and her children all speak French fluently and Prince William was heard speaking it in Quebec in 2011. They were all taught as children. Prince George and Princess Charlotte started learning Spanish...

Baby Sussex

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is due to give birth any day now and as a lover of all things royal, I am excited. Here are some things we know about the birthing process, potential names and titles and what we will have to wait to find out. A source close to the royals says that Meghan wants the birth to be as private as possible so we may not see Journalists and photographers gather near the hospital or wherever the baby will be born as they usually do and we may have to wait longer to see them emerge. There is a very old tradition that dictates the Queen has to be the first to know about the birth so even though it would be very tempting for Meghan to tell her family and friends, she can't do that until the Queen is notified. Midwives and any hospital staff involved in the birth are not allowed to talk about it. After the queen has been informed, a bulletin will be posted on Buckingham Palace's forecourt for the public. The baby's gender is never revealed until t...
