March For Our Lives

I have seen a lot of photos and videos from the 'March For Our Lives' which was held this past weekend and I am so inspired by all the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida and other young people who took part and are taking a stand against gun violence. These amazing people are working hard and using their voices to advocate change. I support everyone in America, here in Australia and all around the world working to end gun violence and save precious lives!     All photos from @marchforourlives Instagram     May god bless you all.   Vishi xoxo

Review: 'Blood Clot' Music Video

Hello! A hot new band has been formed. It consists of former members of Forever Ends Here, Maverick Burnett and Luke McChesney who are joined by Jess Penfold to make Everchange. Their debut single, Blood Clot was released on March 9 and a music video for the song is on YouTube. Photo: Everchange Instagram I absolutely love the music video. It's very different to other videos I have seen. The lyrics of the song tell a story which I think is about a toxic relationship and it is depicted in a unique way. The title written in red against the black background immediately gives it a dark feel and intrigues viewers. The poison is represented by a pink substance which is seen oozing out of a skull, spilling onto a piano and streaming down their faces like tears. It's different to what I imagine poison would look like and it adds to the viewers curiosity. I really want to know what the pink substance is. This might be wrong but as the song is called...

Viral Videos

Hello! In this post, I am going to share a few videos I have seen on YouTube and social media which have all gone viral at some point. They are cute, funny, inspirational and sure to put a smile on your face. 1. A photo of two-year-old Parker Curry staring in awe at former First Lady Michelle Obama's  portrait in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington last week. The photo attracted Michelle's attention. She shared a video of herself dancing with Parker and tweeted, "Parker, I'm so glad I had the chance to meet you today (and for the dance party)! Keep on dreaming big for yourself...and maybe one day I'll proudly look up at a portrait of you!" Watch the video here.     2. A woman named Kerry Rose made this video of people who have suffered and gone through hard times dancing to the song 'This Is Me' from The Greatest Showman. Keala Settle, who sings the song and stars in the movie, reposted the video on Instagram and it has...

In The News

Hello everyone! I am going to start writing news reports on the blog. They won't be long articles. I will just write a few sentences on anything that would be interesting to people my age and younger, from entertainment to general news, both here in Australia and around the world. Michael McCormack elected Deputy PM Australia has a new Prime Minister. This morning, Michael McCormack was elected as Nationals Leader, defeating George Christensen in a vote after his opponent David Gillespie withdrew from the race. McCormack replaces Barnaby Joyce who resigned on Friday. An amazing light show gave the backdrop and K-Pop helped provide the soundtrack to a spectacular closing ceremony. How To De-Stress

Hello! In this post, I am going to share some ways to relax and handle any stress and anxiety you may have.      1. Light a candle - This is something I have recently started doing. You can get beautiful scented candles at so many different stores, my favourite is Bath & Body Works. I don't light them all the time, just when I'm feeling very stressed or whenever I'm in the mood. 2. Take a hot bath or shower - Put a bath bomb or bubble bath in your tub, get in there or your shower and soak all your troubles away. While you're taking a bath or shower, light a candle or play some music. it will create a more relaxing atmosphere. 3. Read - Reading is very important. Of course you have to read at work and school, like prescribed texts for English but you should make time to read when you're not doing anything else. It doesn't have to be a book. Read an article, newspaper or magazine. It doesn't matter what it is, just read. You will learn...

Today is Valentine's Day and everywhere you look, you will see couples exchanging gifts and going on romantic dates, you will see photos on social media of celebrities showing off their elaborate gestures and gifts for their partners, advertisements on TV and hear love song dedications on the radio. There may even be marriage proposals, who knows! If you are single, you may be feeling annoyed or sad or you may think Valentine's day is Pointless and a waste of money. No matter what, I'm sure you will all feel the love in some way. Just because you don't have someone special to share the day with, doesn't mean you can't have a special day. In this post, I  will share a list of things you can do when you're single on Valentine's Day. 1. Have a day out and do something you enjoy. Explore the city, go to the beach or see a movie. 2. Do something you don't normally do. Visit a museum, art gallery, aquarium or zoo. Maybe you  could eve...
