Hello! If you have me as a friend on Facebook or follow me on Instagram, you would have seen that I have been posting flat lays. I started posting them because I was thinking of ways to make my feed more attractive and interesting and looking at other bloggers posts for inspiration. I have received some very nice comments and messages about the ones I've posted so far and I am not an expert but I thought I would share some tips I've learnt on how to take good flat lays photos. For anyone who doesn't know, a flat lay is a picture of items taken from the top to give an impression of them laying flat on the ground. People use them for a various reasons. For example, to show an outfit of the day, things they have purchased or food. Hello beautiful people! This post is about one of my favorite magazines, Dolly. Dolly is a bi-monthly magazine for girls aged 14-17 which was launched in 1970. Each issue is filled with celebrity news and interviews, fashion, health and beauty tips. The magazine was recently re-launched with all the same features but also a new and, in my opinion, more mature look. It now includes longer articles on celebrities, lifestyle and relationships. It covers a variety of issues affecting young girls such as puberty, education and relationships includes topics that these girls many not be aware of. For example, the current issue features an article on nude selfies and how to protect ourselves on page 30[ which, to be honest, is a topic I didn't know about. After reading the article, I did some research to find out more about it and was shocked to see just how big of an issue it is and how often it happens. Hi everyone! I want to tell you about one of my favourite places, the Lindt Café in Martin Place. I go there every week on my days off and either get a hot chocolate or sit in and have a milkshake and while I'm sipping on it, I check my social media, read a book or magazine or just sit and watch everyone around me. To me, it's more than just somewhere to get coffee, hot chocolate etc. I go there to take a break from my busy schedule and forget about problems and anything that might be stressing me out. I would happily sit in there all day. Something about the café calms me down. All the staff are so kind and friendly. Someone is always at the door greeting the customers and welcoming them into the café. They know me so well now and know what I want before I even ask so I don't get a menu. I don't need one because I've memorised it! They take time to talk to customers, ask how they are and how their day has been. I don' know any other café where the staff...
