Hello everyone! This post is a look back at some things that happened in the world of entertainment this year. In January, Jussie Smollett calmed he was the victim of a hate crime after he said he was attacked by two men on a street in Chicago late at night. Police launched an investigation but started to feel something wasn't right and on February 21st, Jussie was arrested for staging the attack against himself with the help of two men he paid. Prosecutors later dropped the criminal case against hin. Khloe Kardashiann and Tristan Thompson's relationship ended when it was revealed he had cheated on her with Kylie Jenner's best friend Jordyn Woods. In February, The Hollywood Unlocked claimed that Tristan and Jordyn were "all over each other" at a house party in Los Angeles. It's almost Christmas! I can't believe it's that time of year again, it feels like this year has gone so fast. Christmas trees and decorations are starting to go up in shopping centres, cities and households and people have started their gift shopping. New movies have arrived in cinemas and Netflix and this is what I will be talking about in this post. I am going to share some of my favourite Christmas movies which I'm sure most of you have seen or at least heard about.  If you haven't, definitely check them out! Home Alone is my favourite, I watch it every Christmas. Macaulay Culkin plays eight-year old Kevin McCallister who is accidently left behind by his family who fly to Paris for their holiday. Initially, Kevin enjoys being home alone but soon has to contend with two burglars.  There are four movies in the Home Alone Franchise but thei first two are the best, in my opinion.  This movie from 2004 is hilarious. The 45th People's Choice Awards were held a few days ago and in this post, I am sharing some of my favorite looks from the red carpet. Former Hi-5 member Charli Robinson is engaged to her partner Liam Talbot. Talbot, a V8 supercar driver, proposed to Robinson just before driving in the Bathurst 1000 car race on the weekend. He was standing next to his long-time love giving a live TV interview talking about his nerves before steering the conversation away from the race. “I feel even more nervous, because I’ve got some exciting news,” Talbot said. TJ Jackson has released a single called Insomnia,  which is amazing! I'm going to share my thoughts on he song and video TJ Jackson's first solo release! First, for those who don't know who TJ is, he is a member of the famous musical family the Jacksons. He is the son of Tito of the legendary Jackson Five and is a member of R&B/pop music group 3T with his brothers Taj and Taryll. 3T were mentored by their uncle Michael and signed to his record label. They released their debut album, Brotherhood , in 1995. The Jacksons were among the first black American performers to gain a following and have been successful in the music industry since they were signed with Motown in 1968 and 3T are popular all over the world. There must be a lot of pressure that comes with the name Jackson and because of all the hits from several members of the family, we expect every song they release to be really good and TJ has definitely lived up to those expectations! Hello! In this post, I am sharing a recipe for three-ingredient banana pancakes, which are very easy to make and taste delicious! Ingredients:  bananas, eggs and baking powder. Method:  1. Put 1 1/2 bananas and 2 eggs into a bowl. 2. Mash the bananas and whisk them and the eggs all together. 3. Add 1/8th tablespoon of baking powder and mix it in. 4. With a spoon, put some of the mixture into a pan on medium heat and cook them until they are golden on both sides. 5. Keep cooking until you have your desired amount of pancakes. 6. Top the pancakes with maple syrup, fruits or whatever you like. Tips: 1. Put the mixture onto the pan in small amounts so they are easier to flip.           2. Syrup is a great topping but if you want your pancakes to be less sweet or sugary, you can               just use fruits as they add natural sweetness.    I ate my pancakes too fast so here's...

Last week, Jakob released another song called Lie which is amazing and the music video is equally amazing. With every song and video he does, he just keeps getting better and his vocals have improved massively. Jakob is growing up, not just in his music but physically too. It looks like he is very tall now! Here I am going to share with you my thoughts on the music video for Lie. This video is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time. It starts with a girl dancing in front of a window through which we can see a view of a city. Not sure if it was filmed here in Sydney or somewhere else but it looks really nice and the girl, Rechelle, is a stunning young woman. I have had the pleasure of meeting her and she is a lovely person and talented dancer. I guess she plays Jakob's love interest or crush in this video. The 36 th  annual MTV Video Music Awards were held on Monday at the Prudential Center in Newark and there were a few memorable moments that people are still talking about. Dominating superstars including Taylor Swift and Cardi B travelled to New Jersey for the ceremony, which also included other types of 2019 pop fandom such as multiple performances in Spanish and the first K-pop award. Taylor Swift was the winner of the night, opening the show by performing  You Need to Calm Down  and  Lover,  both from her recently released seventh LP, and winning three awards, including Video of the Year for  You Need to Calm Down. Last year children's Author Athena Phillips wrote and published her first book, Herbie's Happy Birthday  which is amazing and now she is back with a second book called Carnie Vore Helps With Chores.  In this book, we are introduced to Herbie's cousin Carnie, an adorable little dinosaur who enjoys helping out around the house. Athena "wrote this book to encourage children to be more of a helper in the world." It definitely does that. I'm going to share my thoughts on it. The cover of the book is absolutely beautiful. It's bright and colourful and I love the purple theme of the room. Purple is my favourite colour so of course I do! The title is written in big font and block letters which makes it easy for children to read. It is a very attractive cover that I think people will be drawn to when they are looking in a library or bookshop. The story follows a day in the life of Carnie. Just over a year after the release of Hopelessly,  Jakob Delgado is back with his second song as a solo artist! The former boy band member started promoting Drowning at the end of last month by posting short lyric videos on Instagram and released the song yesterday. The fans have waited a very long time to hear new music from Jakob and it was worth it. I'm going to share my thoughts on the song. I think Drowning is about a broken relationship. With the words, "Feel like I can sum it up, you've been f***ing with someone..." it sounds like he is talking about someone who cheated on him or did him wrong. It's very easy to assume it's about a girl but really it could be about anyone. Maybe it's about a friend.
