People and the Coronavirus Pandemic

What a crazy time we are living in right now! The coronavirus pandemic has affected everyone in some way - Some are working from home or not able to work at all, doing school work online, going grocery shopping only to find empty shelves and limited stock of the items they need and unable to get medication and go about their daily lives. So many industries are suffering due to events being cancelled. Artists, performers, producers, managers and people in the music and entertainment industry are suffering due to cancelled or postponed concerts and the beauty and tourism industries are losing business. Whatever the situation, this has changed all of our lives. The global health crisis has brought out the worst in people. When we watch the news and go on social media everyday, we see videos of people arguing and even physically fighting in supermarkets over basic times like toilet paper and photos of the elderly facing empty shelves, struggling to find the essentials. I Love Me

Last week, Demi Lovato released a new single called I Love Me  and in this post, I am going to share my thoughts on the song and music video, which came out on the same day. Demi is one of my favourite artists. She is a very talented singer and actress and I feel that she is a great role model for young girls. She's been through a lot in her life - She started her entertainment career in 2002 and has been acting, singing and appearing on TV ever since, was bullied at school due to her acting, has suffered from depression, an eating disorder and self-harm and took drugs. With all her personal struggles, she has managed to have a successful career. I love that she is so open and honest about what she has been through. Not many people like to discuss those issues, especially in the media, but she does and I'm sure it helps a lot of people who may be in the same situation. Are there times when you really want to go out and do something fun but your friends, family or partners would rather stay in or do something else? If yes, that's okay, you can still go enjoy yourself.
