Harry and Meghan in Australia

Hello! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan are currently on tour. They started in Sydney, where the Invictus Games are being held, then travelled to Dubbo, Melbourne and Queensland. They flew to Fiji and are now in Tonga. In this post, I am going to share some of my favourite photos from their time here in Australia. Photo: Hello! Canada Harry and Meghan arrived in Sydney on 15th October. I thought that there would be a crowd of people gathered to try to catch a glimpse of the royals but it was pretty low-key. I loved Harry's casual attire. Photo: POPSUGAR Australia A few hours after arriving, Kensington Palace announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting a baby! A lot of people had been suspecting that she is pregnant and they were right. During their time in Sydney they stayed at Admiralty House. On the first day, they met the Governor General Peter Cosgrove and were presented this toy Kangaroo. They have been given so...

Amazing Talent Show Auditions

Hello! Last month I shared some funny talent auditions from around the world which were weird and went wrong and now in this post, I am going to share some of the best auditions from around the world. 1. Susan Boyle When 48-year-old Susan Boyle walked onto the Britain's Got Talent stage in 2009 and started answering the judges questions, some people in the audience were laughing. I don't know why, maybe it was because of her cheekiness. Simon Cowell asked her What her dream is and she said "I'm trying to be a professional singer," a girl in the audience was shown making a face. I think a lost of people thought this was going to be another one of those people who can't really sing but as soon as Susan started singing, she proved them wrong. Amanda Holden's jaw actually dropped! She had a beautiful voice. The laughter stopped and cheers started. She earned a well-deserved standing ovation and got through to the next round. She came in second place bu...

Viral Acts of Kindness

Hello! Everyday, the news is full of reports on accidents, shootings, attacks and deaths. It seems like it's all bad news. The world isn't always a friendly, happy place but there are some good people out there who do good deeds because that's just who the are. Sometimes, these people become famous for their acts of kindness. In this post, I am going to share a few acts of kindness that were found and went viral on the Internet. 1. Service in Hungry Jacks Jesse Teichelman is a 21-year-old performer from Perth who I have been following on social media for a while now. One night in August, Jesse went into Hungry Jacks to get a drink and while he was waiting for it he noticed an autistic man at the counter trying to order his food. The lady at the counter was having trouble understanding him and getting embarrassed so she went to get the manager for help but they said, "No, I'm on Facebook so go get Amy, she's around somewhere" (OMG!!!) She came...

Things to do on a rain day

Hello, It's been raining and with a lot of people being on school holidays right now, I thought I would share some ideas of things you could do on a rainy day. How many times have you woken up, seen the rain and said, Oh no, I can't go anywhere. What am I going to do today? There's actually a lot you can do. You can still have fun in our own home. Here are some ideas. Read a book: This is my favourite thing to do. Lay in bed or wrap yourself in a blanket on the couch and read. You can take a break from your busy life and transport yourself to the world of the characters for a while. If you're not really a fan of books, grab a magazine. Watch movies and TV Shows: Have a movie marathon and/or binge watch your favourite TV shows. I like having film series marathons like watching all the Harry Potter or Twilight Saga films. Exercise: Rain is no excuse not to exercise. Grab a mat and do some stretches, yoga, sit-ups, push-ups or whatever. If you have an exe...

Things I Learnt in America

Hello! Last October my mum and I went on a holiday to America! I was so excited as that had been at the top of my list of places to visit. We went to Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Washington and Ohio. A friend picked us up from Ohio and drove us to Michigan. We stayed there for a night and then went to Toronto, Canada. In this post, I am going to share a few things I learnt in America - Differences between there and Australia, things that surprised me and a little information about the sights. I will start with our first destination, LA. Los Angeles Driving from LAX airport, I thought we would pass by well known buildings but it was mostly grass, like we were in the middle of nowhere, until we got to Hollywood & Highland, where our hotel was. There are so many people dressed up as movie characters walking around and you can take photos with them but you have to pay them. On our first day there, my mum and I were exploring the area near the hot...
