Two years ago, I wrote a post called 'Explore Adelaide,' and now I am back with part two, as I have found more amazing places to see in the beautiful state.

The Museum of Discovery, or MOD. as it is known, is a futuristic museum designed for young people between the ages of 15 and 25 which showcases how research shapes our understanding of the world and is inspired by science, art and innovation. It is interactive and you can watch presentations on the screens, do activities and answer questions.
MOD. is located in the University of South Australia and is free to enter.
I highly recommend all booklovers visit The State Library of South Australia, located in North Terrace. There are three buildings to explore - the award-wining Catherine Spence Wing with an iconic glass foyer, the Mortlock Wing with it's 19th century Victorian style and the 1861 heritage listed Institute building,
The Mortlock Wing has small desks for people to sit, read and work, many old books and is a beautiful place to take photos. It also showcases items from the library's collections in exhibition bays.

Walk further down the North Terrace cultural precinct and you will come to the South Australian Museum. Here there are five floors of history and objects from early complex life to Australian Aboriginal cultural material.

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city with a walk around the Adelaide Himeji Garden.
It is a traditional Japanese garden, gifted from the state's sister City Himeji in1982. It is located in the Adelaide Park Lands and is a peaceful place for people to walk around, sit and meditate, think and read. Listen to the sounds of the birds and the water fountains.
Have you ever been to Adelaide? What are your favourite places and things to do there?
