Hello! Wow, there are only three more days left of this year! It has been an action packed year for so many people and in this post, I am going to highlight a few things that happened in the world of entertainment in 2018. I am writing these in no particular order. Forever Ends Here's Final Show In January, Australian band Forever Ends Here performed for the very last time before splitting up. Hello everyone! I recently made some Christmas butter cookies and in this post I am sharing the recipe with you, Photo: Taste I forgot to take a photo o the ones I made.  Butter cookies Ingrdients 125g softened butter 1/2 cup caster sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 egg 2 cups plain flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 tablespoon milk Method Step 1 Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Step 2 Beat butter, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer in a small bowl until pale and creamy. Add egg and mix well until well combined. Sift flour and baking powder over butter mixture. Add milk and stir until just combined. Step 3 Roll the mixture into balls and place them on baking trays. Flatten them with the heel of you hand. Space them out so there is room for the cookies to spread. Step 4 Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, swapping trays over in the oven after 10 minutes, or until light golden. Hello! There are so many great Christmas movies out and in this post, I am going to tell you about two of those movies I have seen recently. The Princess Switch Vanessa Hudgens stars in this romantic comedy film as Stacy DeNovo, a young baker who owns a pastry shop in Chicago. She meets Lady Margaret Delacourt, Duchess of Montenaro, who is soon to marry the kingdom's Crown Prince. They look exactly like each other and switch lives for a few days and agree to return to normal in time for Lady Margaret's wedding and Stacy's pastry competition. It is out on Netflix now. Shoelaces for Christmas In this movie. a young girl named Jennifer learns to be compassionate towards others when her father forces her to volunteer at a homeless shelter. Hello! The Aria awards were held last night at The Star in Sydney and in this post I am sharing some of my favourite looks from the red carpet. Matt & Jess Price. Look at these newlyweds, they look absolutely amazing! Jess is stunning. I have been a fan of these two ever since they were on The X Factor and they are the nicest people.  Rita Ora. Hello! Right now I am feeling nostalgic and looking back at things that people who are around my age will remember. These are things we had back in the late 80's and 90's that aren't available now. We saved our important documents and files on floppy disks. We purchased and recorded music on audio tapes Today, we have DVD's but back then we watched movies on VHS cassettes. A lot of us remember these stores where we could rent movies to watch. It was quite sad when they closed but with YouTube, Netflix and downloading options, they weren't needed much. Word Art was an easy way to make assignments look attractive. I remember spending a lot of time choosing one of these for title pages. The kids TV shows back then were great. The whole world knows about the legendary musical group The Jacksons 5, now called The Jacksons, but what people may not know is that their children are taking their first steps into the entertainment industry. Taj, Taryll and TJ Jackson The three sons of Tito Jackson have been in the music industry for many years now. They formed a band called 3T and released their debut album Brotherhood in 1995. Their latest release was in May, an album called Chapter III. Taj, Taryll and TJ also do work for the Dee Dee Jackson Foundation which honours their mother who died in 1994 and helps people who are dealing with loss and grief.
