Inspiring Photographers

Hey everyone! I absolutely love taking photos. My parents bought me a DSLR camera, a Nikon D5100, for Christmas a few years ago and I have used it at almost every party and family gathering and taken it on a few outings to the city. In my final two semesters at college, I was on the newsroom photography team so I took it with me on assignments and those photos were used in quite a few news articles, written by myself and other students. It was so exciting to see my photos being used in the media. After finishing college, I didn't use my camera for a very long time. I only took it out when we had family come over for birthdays and other special occasions. I have only just recently taking out more and now I actually want to seriously learn and improve my skills because photography is a very important part of journalism. ShoreShocked Battle of the Bands

Hello! A lot of you  know that I love music and enjoy going to concerts, I have been to so many in the last few years. My favourite genre of music is pop but lately I have been keen to listen to different types. In this post, I am going to tell you about a new band I saw earlier this year. The Lazy Eyes are an alternative/psychedelic rock band consisting of four members - Harvey (Singer and guitar) Itay (singer and guitar), Blake (Bass), and Noah (Drums) who are all in year 11 at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. I first heard about these guys from friends who were already fans. They had been talking about this band so much that I just had to check them out on social media. I watched a few videos of them performing and, surprisingly, I actually liked what I heard and saw so then I wanted to see them live so I liked their Facebook page and waited for an event to be posted.
