Why I Like Biographies

Hello, I love to read. I have a large collection of books and have read a lot of them two or three times. My favourite books to read are biographies. Here I will tell you why. Everyday I am surrounded by people who inspire me - family, friends, co-workers and people I meet. I have a big interest in people's life stories and draw inspiration from them. That is why I love to read biographies. I like to read about how celebrities and people who are in the public eye came to be where they are today. Reading about what their childhood was like, how they grew up and things they have done and experienced interests me. I especially love reading about people who have had tough lives and been through many obstacles but have come out on top and are now very successful in their careers and are leading happy lives. Hello, In my bedroom, I have a 'wall of inspiration.' Whenever I read a good quote in a magazine, newspaper or book I cut it out or write it down and stick it up on the wall so I can look at it and be motivated. "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted" - Aesop "It's all about loving and taking care of the only body you will ever have. Managing Anxiety

Hello! I previously wrote about how to relax during exams and other stressful times and in this post I am going to share a few more tips. This will especially help anyone who is suffering from anxiety. I'll tell you how you can manage it. 1. Breathe - Breathe in, hold it and count to 4 slowly, breathe out. This is obvious but it's something I have to remind myself sometimes when I feel anxious. 2. Spend time with family - When your parents come home from work, ask how their day was, tell them how your day was, have dinner with them and watch TV together. 3. Call or message your friends - You don't have to tell them your problems. Just chat about fun things like good-looking boys you may have seen (haha), movies, TV shows, what's going on in their lives, anything to take your mind off whatever is worrying you. Having a good laugh with your best friends is fun. 4. Meditate - I have just started meditation. Sit in a quiet room free of distractions in a comfortabl...
